we had our 25 thousandth customer today. i wanted to give that person a gift certificate or a hug or throw confetti. but i forgot until i closed up shop and looked at our receipts for the day. she bought a skinny belt. dammit.

the designers of OluKai wanted to make shoes that "create a better class of products for the life we live in and around the water." that doesnt mean were about to start selling flip flops but these boots are dope and super quality. how to wear?  cigarette skinny cords with a vintage wrangler hanging loosely over a little polka dot bikini. where to wear? parked on the side of PCH blaring surfer rosa with a guy that may or may not resemble alexander skarsgard, but with tattoos and a dark past.
